Cancel Your Cable, Watch TV on an Xbox
Technology.am (May 23, 2009) — PlayOn software is now live allowing users to stream nearly any show to an Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3, with just a PC and an Internet connection.
The service is offered on a 14-day trial basis and it may ruin everything for cable providers.
After installing the software, you can enter your user information for sites such as Amazon Video On Demand, Hulu, YouTube, and Netflix.
PlayOn is a cool technology, but if you don’t know what you want to see, you might wind up clicking through folders for a minute or two.
