Microsoft Unveils New Servers for Small Company

Microsoft Corp, the world’s largest software company launched Windows Server 2008 Foundation, a new range of server systems for small companies, into the market on Thursday.
This Windows Server 2008 Foundation software can accommodate up to 15 users and will cost less than $1,000 for the hardware and software combined, the company said.
Analysts believe that the Microsoft’s new offering Windows Server 2008 Foundation costing less than $1,000 has grown four times faster than any other price range for comparable single processor servers.

Samsung Introduces Major Advertising Campaign to Drive Business-to-Business Presence

Samsung Electronics launched an advertising campaign, “Ctrl P” to strengthen its brand among a business-to-consumer (B2C) market in particular for its mobile phones and televisions and raise awareness of the company’s printer offering.
The “Ctrl P” stands for “easy manageability” of business customer’s printing infrastructure through Samsung’s printing solutions. The “Ctrl P” campaign will run in 14 global markets, Australia, Canada, China, North America, Russia and Singapore and eight European countries.

Firefox 3 Becomes Europe Top Browser

Firefox 3.0 has surpassed Internet Explorer (IE) 7, which encompasses 3 million web pages, leading to 4 billion page views per month, making it the most popular browser in Europe, confirmed by StatCounter’s statistics.

Firefox contains a share of 35%, edging out Internet Explorer 7, who sticks at 34%. Internet Explorer 6 still sits at 11%, with IE8 having a share of 2.3%. Today Youtube is showing videos Upside Down. When you open the Home page of Youtube and go to any video you will get a page which is flipped upside down. If you are doing so first time this will be default. But the next time you open other videos you will not get it.

Sony eBook Store to Offer Classic Books Promoted by Google

Now it is good news for who like to read Sony’s eBook. They can easily catch these eBooks digitalized by Google. Sony Electronics has struck a deal with Google to distribute half a million titles through the Sony eBook Store — for free.
The books, all published before 1923 and now in the public domain, were digitized by Google as part of its Google Book Search program. Sony will offer them alongside the 100,000 or so books still under copyright that it sells through its eBook store.

Microsoft Going to Release Internet Explorer 8 Gold Today

Now waiting of new Internet Explorer 8 is over. People can enjoy the IE8 from today. It is free from beta version. Out of beta, Steve Ballmer claims that IE 8, “gets people to the information they need, fast, and provides protection that no other browser can match.”
