Lenovo Power Again Goes to Chinese Leadership From American Leadership

Bill Amelio , who has been retired from the post of the CEO of the Lenovo. He was also CEO of the Dell before Lenovo. Although this time is verybad for Lenovo as its loss is three times more than their expectation. He is replaced by Lenovo’s Chairman Yang Yuanging who will continue to live and work from Lenovo’s North Carolina office.
New CEO will try to dominate in China markets and also fulfill the loses in the current session.

Apple Lovers Have to Still Wait For 17-inch MacBook Pro

As Apple had announced to ship the 17-inch macBook Pro by the end of January, will take more time to ship. It has been confirmed by the company officials on Wednesday
Apple planned to ship the 17-inch MacBook Pro by the end of January, but the notebook’s release has been delayed. The company confirmed the delay for Macworld on Wednesday.
“Wrapping up the new 17-inch MacBook Pro is taking a few days longer than we expected, and we now expect to begin shipments in mid-February,” Apple spokesman Bill Evans told Macworld.

Now Yahoo Get Ready For Online Notepad  For It’s Search Engine

Like Google and Zoho now Yahoo is also going to launch an online notepad for it’s search engine. Via this notepad people will be able to share their links, notepad, copy-paste web content. It can also share via e-mails.
This tool is called Search Pad. This will be retain from the Yahoo search engine and it is combines the features from onlone notebooks and social bookmarking sites

Xing Gets a Competitor in Germany as LinkedIn Launches a German Site

LinkedIn is launching a site dedicated competely for Germany where local — and floated — business network Xing dominates the market. LinkedIn had significant growth with sites for Spain and France last year — 200,000 users in two months and France hit 700,000. It has a an existing 500,000 in Germany, 80% of whom are using the site for English connections.
This is the fourth of LinkedIn’s country-focused sites. It has 41 which are simply translated versions.

U.S. Department of Energy will be Connected with More Powerful IBM’s Supercomputers

According to the sources IBM has plans to announce that they will be provide the world’s fastest supercomputer to the U.S. Department of Energy. The previous supercomputer IBM’s Roadrunner was the first system to reach 1.026 petaflops. IBM is announcing that its successor will outdo it by an order of magnitude.
Sequoia will be able to work at a staggering 20 petaflops, the equivalent of the computing power of 2 million laptops .
