Dell, the giants in laptop manufacturing, is set to woo the enterprise market with an effective new laptop. The new addition to Dell’s fleet of business laptop line is none other than Dell Vostro V131.  Dell has done away with the snags alleged normally against their laptops, and thus is born the Vostro V311, with the promise of long 9.5 hours of battery life. In case you didn’t know, it is top notch comparing to the current industry standards.

With this Dell will enter the league of those long-lasting netbooks. On the target list are customers who are always on the move – the long-lasting battery life will supplement power while on travel.

The device is packed with powerful technologies that can be integrated with either the Intel Core i3 or Core i5 processor that never let you down when in demand of fast processing. Dell Vostro V131 is also notably thin and sports a streamlined body becoming one among the lightest and slimmest laptops from the Vostro series.

As any other laptops in the Vostro line up, V131 is also equipped with awesome connectivity options. They include support for WWAN, WiMax & LTE (US only), Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 3.0. Remarkably, the laptop also features a standard fingerprint reader that endows the option of more security for the classified information saved within.

In addition, Absolute LoJack security software – so as to track the hardware if lost –  is built in as a precaution against laptop thefts which are common these days.

What we can’t expect V131 is to play the role a gaming powerhouse. The laptop also will not include easy support for social networking and gaming. Vostro V131 is outright an office-based laptop and is tailor made for the functioning of daily office functions like data processing, editing documents, making presentations and sending emails.

Dell Vostro V131 also has a full HD camera for video conferencing purposes, SRS Premium Voice Pro, digital array mics and built-in Skype. A couple of USB 3.0 ports also have been thrown in.

Unique is the chiclet keyboard in V131 that comes with a backlit option for aiding the night birds who works late at night. The new Vostro V131 is on sale for a cost starting at $449.
