AMD has added two Athlon II exploating with socket FM1: the Athlon II X4 638 and X4 641. Both models are four CPU cores with respective frequencies of 2.7 GHz and 2.8 GHz.
The Sunnyvale firm therefore continues to make chips without integrated graphics, or at least without it being functional. The technical characteristics (number of cores, frequency, cache, TDP, etc..) for these two new CPUs are reminiscent of the A4-3420 and A6-3670K launched last December. AMD should certainly sell well APU which the graphics would not pass all its tests.

In a presentation dedicated to its partners, Microsoft has revealed more details about the next generation of Windows Phone.
The next edition of Microsoft’s mobile system, named Apollo, will enable manufacturers to increase the physical characteristics of smartphones. In addition to support for multiple screen sizes, these devices may be multi-core. The objective is to rank better in competition. Moreover the Windows Phone will support the NFC wireless links whose virtual wallet can be personalized by the telephone.
