Apple to release Snow Leopard on August 28 for $29

Technology.am (Aug. 25, 2009) — Apple Inc.’s latest operating system software, Mac OS X Snow Leopard or Mac OS X version 10.6, will go on sale on August 28th. Apple rival Microsoft’s new Windows 7 operating system is due in October.
The upcoming Mac OS X 10.6 (“Snow Leopard”) is half the size of the previous Mac OS X 10.5 (“Leopard”) freeing up to 7 gigabytes of storage space when installed.
