WordPress 3.4 Beta 1 was released last week and now WordPress 3.4 Beta 2 has been released in a quick update. According to the release notes, the development team has fixed over 60 bugs that were reported by the beta testers. If you are using the new WordPress 3.4 beta for testing purposes, you can also report bugs to the WordPress team by using the method given here.
The update of WordPress 3.4 is important especially for theme and plugin developers because there have been changes in the themes customizations and new APIs are available for theme and plugin developers to take advantage of.
