Gimmonix – an Israeli based startup who has made it its goal to empower online travel entrepreneurs – has completed the first stage development of its unique and innovative Online Travel Booking Engine: Carsolize.
“Small and Mid-size OTAs (online travel agents) have very little choice in a way of travel booking solutions” says Andrey Spektor – company founder and CEO. “It’s either making very significant technology investments, or settling for affiliate, deep-link, and pay-for-referral type of model. We’ve decided to change that with Carsolize.”
Carsolize is an online travel booking engine, which integrates numerous car, hotel, air, and other suppliers. It is easy to integrate, and it allows for the entire booking transaction to complete without leaving the travel site. “By completing the entire booking process on our client site, sales are never lost to technicalities associated with deep-linking, cookies, and phone reservations” says Nikolai Avrutov, company’s VP of Sales and Marketing. “Moreover, the OTA retains client info for future communication – never the case with standard affiliate programs, where the supplier gets all the leads for future sales”.
Carsolize does not stop there, and plans to offer its clients complementing social and mobile applications. “There is a lot of speculation around how mobile and social technology is going to impact the world of online travel” says Andrey Spektor. “We think it is going to have a very significant impact, and will provide travel entrepreneurs with a competitive edge, which will empower them to effectively compete by offering unparalleled level of service, product offering, and superb customer experience”.
