Technology.am (July 23, 2009) — There is really a big problem to charge your gadgets when you are on the go. Finnish company Suntrica has developed the SolarStrap that is a thin and lightweight solar panel on a wearable badge. It’s very portable, flexible and weighs about 2 ounces. The SolarStrap retails for about $40.
The SolarStrap stores solar energy in a small battery, than can be used to charge up your cellphone, iPod or any other gadget. It’s easy to put the SolarStrap on any bag, backpack or shirt.
This is a great way to start using solar power when you are in an emergency.
