Google Launches Rich Media Ad Tool (May 4,2009) — Google launches DoubleClick Studio, the free web based application tool that helps advertisers to produce rich media ads, as well as the media agencies and publishers.

rich_mediaAccording to Ryan Hayward, DoubleClick Studio includes features such as a searchable archive of work structured by creatives, clients and campaigns, integrated quality assurance procedures and the full range of Flash components.

It also offers direct uploading capabilities to DART for Advertisers, DoubleClick’s ad management and serving tool.

“With DoubleClick Studio rolling out on a global basis, it is now easier than ever to manage local, regional and global campaigns on a single authoring platform,” he said.

“This is also a good thing for internet users; rich media capabilities make advertising even more useful, letting a viewer interact with an ad and learn about a brand without having to leave the page they’re on.” said Shamim Samadi and Ari Paparo of the DoubleClick rich media team.
