Sony unveils 3D Bravia TV and movie downloads for PS3 and PSP in Europe
Technology.am (Sept. 04, 2009) — Sony has announced its first 3D-compatible Bravia LCD TV, to arrive in 2010, and will also develop 3D-compatibility into its PlayStation 3, Vaio computer, and Blu-ray products to provide a multitude of ways in which 3D content – from 3D movies to stereoscopic 3D games.
Sony’s new 3D LCD TVs will use sequential frame display and active-shutter glass systems, to fully replicate the genuine 3D experience, in high definition.
The high-definition active shutter glasses alternate the image for the left and right eye and glasses open and shut in sync with the image on the screen.
PlayStation Network’s video-delivery service for Europe will allow you to download and rent moviefilms to PS3 and PSP, and transfer them between the two.
