Tata DoCoMo launches Pay Per-Character “Diet-SMS”

Technology.am (Sept. 10, 2009) — Instead of charging for a text message of 160 characters, Indian Tata DoCoMo has just launched a short messaging service, called Diet-SMS, which will allow users to pay on a per-character basis. The company will not charge for space between words.

tata-docomo-logo-1“The cost of any Diet-SMS will be only one paise per character used (100 paise= 1 rupee).

Tata Docomo has launched this service in eight telecom circles India.

    cm to knw abt tata docomo’s unlimited gprs plans..the previouse plan they had wr nt bad n i hope its much more better than that..cn any one giv me info on this plan..

    guys jus fews ads that the participants from the animation contest of tata docomo had made..its gud..is any1 else participating..m nt gtin any proper concept..i really want ot doc sumthin new..
